Live video survey: inspect remotely, capture stamped photos.
Send the vehicle owner or workshop a secure link. They point their phone camera at the vehicle, you guide them and capture photos from the live video — each one watermarked and saved into the survey.

A remote inspection in four steps
Start from the survey
Open the survey and choose Live Survey. A unique link is created for that survey.
Send the link
Share it with the owner or workshop. They open it in their phone browser and allow the camera.
Guide and capture
Watch their camera, switch your mic on to guide them and tap capture for each view you need.
Photos land in the survey
Captured photos are watermarked and filed with the survey, ready for the report.
Save a trip when the case allows it
Live video suits stages where you need to see progress or confirm work rather than examine the vehicle closely.
- Under-repair checks — see the progress without travelling.
- Reinspection — confirm replaced parts on camera.
- Additional photos the report needs after a visit.
- Distant locations where a visit is not practical — if the insurer agrees.

Secure link
An unguessable token per session, valid for a limited time.
Stamped evidence
Date, time, location (when shared) and survey reference on each capture.
You control audio
Your camera stays off; turn your mic on only when you need to talk.
Frequently asked questions
Does the vehicle owner need to install an app?
No. The owner or garage opens the link you send in their phone's browser and allows the camera. The surveyor's side runs inside DigiSurvey.
How long is the link valid?
Each live survey link is unique to one survey and is valid for a limited time (60 minutes from when it is created).
What is written on the captured photos?
Photos captured from the live video are watermarked with the date, time, the customer-side location when their browser shares it, and the survey reference, and are saved to the survey.
Can I talk to the person on the other end?
Yes. Your camera stays off by default; you can switch your microphone on when you need to guide them.
When should I not use a remote inspection?
A remote inspection depends on what the camera shows. Follow the insurer's instructions and do a physical inspection whenever the case needs it.
What if the connection drops?
Photos you captured are kept on your device and uploaded automatically once the connection is back.
