Frequently asked questions
Does the app work where there is no mobile signal?
Yes. Photos and documents captured in DigiSurvey are saved on the phone first and upload automatically when the connection returns, so a basement workshop or a highway spot survey does not stop the work.
What is stamped on each photo?
Photos taken with Live Capture record the date, time and GPS location at the moment of capture, and the address is looked up when a location fix is available. These details are carried into the photo captions in your reports.
Do I need to install anything?
No store download is required. DigiSurvey runs in the browser and can be added to the home screen on Android, iPhone and computers, where it opens full-screen like an app.
Can I use it for non-motor surveys?
Surveys can be filed as Motor or Non-Motor, and the photo, document and report tools work for both. The report formats are built primarily around motor claims.
