Marine cargo survey — transit, container & consignment loss, GPS-stamped.
Survey transit, consignment and container losses with the condition on record from the moment you reach the cargo. Every photo is GPS- and time-stamped, seals, packing and counts are captured as you go, and out comes a cargo survey report on your own letterhead.

Put the cargo's condition on record, the moment you reach it
Transit and consignment claims turn on what the cargo, seal and packing looked like at survey. DigiSurvey records that — seal numbers, packing condition, counts and damage — in one dated, verifiable file.
Condition on record
The cargo, packing and seals are captured and dated at survey — a clear baseline before the consignment is moved or unpacked.
Seal & marks
Photograph container and seal numbers, consignment marks and LR/BL references so the report ties the evidence to the shipment.
GPS + time on every photo
Each photo carries its location, date and time from the capture itself — proof of where and when the cargo was surveyed.
Packing & count
Record packing condition, the state of each package and short / excess counts against the consignment.
Damage checklist
Mark each lot or package Sound, Wet, Crushed, Short, Torn or Not applicable, with damaged items highlighted and counted.
Cargo survey report
A print-ready cargo survey report on your letterhead — nature of loss, extent, packing and captioned photos in one place.
What you capture on a cargo loss
From the seal on the door to the damaged lot inside — every photo GPS- and time-stamped and tied to the consignment.

A cargo survey in four steps
Open the case
Start a marine case with the insurer, insured, consignment and the LR / bill-of-lading reference.
Capture at survey
Capture the container, seals, packing and each affected lot — every photo GPS- and time-stamped, marks read in.
Mark the checklist
Mark each lot or package's condition, note short / wet / crush damage and the apparent cause.
Report on your letterhead
The cargo survey report is ready on your letterhead — details, nature and extent of loss, checklist and captioned evidence.
The evidence a transit claim needs, and what goes in the report
The marine preset prompts for these items at survey, and prints them into the report in the same order.

Frequently asked questions
What marine losses can I survey with DigiSurvey?
Transit, consignment and container losses — short-landing, wet and water damage, crushing, breakage, contamination and packing failure. The same workspace captures the cargo, seals and packing and produces a cargo survey report on your letterhead.
Can I record container and seal numbers?
Yes. Photograph the container and seal and the numbers read into the report, or type / dictate them. The report ties each photo to the consignment through its seal, marks and LR / bill-of-lading reference.
Does every photo get a GPS and time stamp?
Yes. Every photo carries its location, date and time from the capture itself — not added later. The finished report also carries a QR code anyone can scan to confirm it is genuine.
Can I record short-landing and packing condition?
Yes. You record the expected and found counts with short or excess marked, and the packing condition before and during de-stuffing, with close shots of any breach — all printed in the report in order.
Is the cargo survey report on my own letterhead?
Yes. Every report carries your firm's name, logo and licence number and goes to the insurer as your document. The marine cargo format is being rolled out, and we'll build the exact format your insurer asks for.
Does DigiSurvey decide the claim?
No. Marine losses are assessed by the surveyor under the policy terms and their own judgement. DigiSurvey records the evidence and produces the report; it does not decide liability or quantum on its own.
